Swedish-Greek artist Alexander Wessely (born Stockholm 1989) examines human worship in an era without gods, the persistence of the sacred in secular life, and the meeting point between classical sculpture and emerging technology.

His practice ranges from sculpture and installation to scenography and live performance, presented at institutions including Fotografiska Museum, Museu del Disseny, the Royal Dramatic Theatre, and the Las Vegas Sphere, as well as the Nobel Prize Ceremony and monumental stage works for stadium concerts in collaboration with The Weeknd, FKA Twigs, and Anyma.

He works between Stockholm and Athens.
